Programs and Services

  • The Provincial Disaster Assistance Program (PDAP) provides financial assistance to eligible claimants located in a municipality that has been designated eligible for assistance as a result of a substantial loss or damage to uninsurable, essential property, caused by a specific natural disaster, such as flooding, tornados, plow winds and severe weather.  PDAP is a program of last resort.  If any other program (municipal, provincial or federal) provides assistance, then it is not covered under PDAP.

  • Water Pumping Equipment Rental Program: Administered by the Water Security Agency, this program is designed to help Saskatchewan farmers and ranchers through the provision of pipes and pumps to transfer water from one location to another.

  • Forage, Feed and Custom Service Listing: Provides buyers and sellers with an effective way to buy or sell feed for cattle and other animals.

  • Saskatchewan Crop Insurance Corporation: Saskatchewan Crop Insurance Corporation assists producers in managing their operation's production risk over the crop year. Programs allow producers to tailor their coverage to their operation. Compensation may be provided for acres too wet to seed or acres that fail to establish due to excess moisture.

  • AgriStability: A federal-provincial risk management program for agriculture producers that provides support when a producer experiences larger farm income losses.

  • AgriInvest: A savings account for producers that provides coverage for small income declines and allows for investments that help mitigate risks or improve market income.

  • 2013 Emergency Flood Damage Reduction Program (EFDRP) - The program, administered by the Water Security Agency, provides engineering and technical assistance to municipalities while sharing the cost of permanent and temporary flood prevention works.
