The gopher control rebate provides assistance to producers, Rural Municipalities, and Indian Bands who incurred significant costs to control gophers in 2012.
Program assistance is available to:
- A Saskatchewan resident who is at least 18 years of age and owns or leases farm land in Saskatchewan.
- A partnership, communal organization, corporation or co-operative, having its head office in Saskatchewan or carrying on business principally in Saskatchewan that owns or leases farm land in Saskatchewan.
- An Indian Band whose reserve land is in Saskatchewan.
- A Rural Municipality that purchased eligible gopher control products and resold the product at a subsidized cost to a producer.
- A Rural Municipality that purchased eligible gopher control product and applied the product on municipal land to control gophers.
