Research ProgramsSaskatchewan Agriculture offers a diverse portfolio of research and development programs designed to meet the needs of the agriculture industry. These programs support applied research and development, product, process and market development and help ensure that we have the necessary research capacity in Saskatchewan to meet the needs of the agriculture industry.

The Agriculture Development Fund supports research and development ADF funding awarded for 35 projects in 2007. Introduced in 1986 through a series of five-year agreements with the University of Saskatchewan to fund agriculture and food research. The Agriculture Development Fund is a two-phase process; consisting of Letters of Intent (LOI) followed by full application proposals. |
