The What:

Ten scholarships worth $1,000 each.

The Who:

Grade 12 students and recent graduates (the past two years) in Saskatchewan planning to take agriculture-related post-secondary education beginning in the fall of 2012.

The How:

Applicants need to:

  • Write a 750-word essay or produce a three-minute video essay; and
  • Provide a letter of recommendation from a teacher, agricultural industry or community leader.

Essays need to address one of two topics:

  • The future information and technological needs of agricultural producers; or
  • One or more common myths about agriculture. Essays must dispel the myth(s) through research, facts and statistics.
