The University of Saskatchewan in Saskatoon is one of only two in Canada that has a metabolic unit for conducting clinical trials for food products.

This report contains statistics on a number of planning and decision factors involved with the planting of specialty crops in Saskatchewan. These factors include the area planted, yield, production, price, moisture and insects. Specialty crops examined include mustard, sunflowers, lentils, peas, canary seed and chickpeas.
